Top lobbyist for Ketchum

Ketchum has snared the top lobbyist at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) to join its expanding public affairs team.

Allison Bartlett will step down as head of government affairs at the ABPI after six years. She joins Ketchum's corporate and public affairs practice in September as an associate director. 'At Ketchum, I will, of course, be working on pharma and broader healthcare issues - my heartland in recent years,' said Bartlett.

She has previously worked in consultancy for Westminster Strategy and Ketchum. Last year, Ketchum poached Hill & Knowlton's public affairs chief Rod Cartwright to head its lobbying practice (PRWeek, 22 November 2007).
