- Press Gazette is moving from a weekly to a monthly publication, possibly as early as September, sources close to the Wilmington-owned magazine have revealed.

- The Television Consultancy, a broadcast and digital PR specialist, has been bought by private equity firm ISIS Equity Partners for £10m.

- Sony ERICSSON has taken on digital PR specialist Wolfstar to handle social media comms activity. The agency is to roll out a global campaign.

- Hill & Knowlton has given its UK corporate practice head Stuart Smith a new role overseeing the EMEA region.

- Halpern MD Whitney Ertel has left the agency. Founder Jenny Halpern Prince will assume the MD role alongside her CEO responsibilities.

- Bondy Consulting has been appointed by ITV to handle a corporate project for its consumer division.

- Threepipe has won a brief for toy brand Corgi. The brand was bought by Hornby earlier this year.

- Freud Communications has been appointed by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games to handle handover events from Beijing to London on 24 August.

- HCC (Meat Promotion Wales) has appointed Ogilvy PR London to promote Welsh Lamb.
