Tangerine scales back

Manchester-based agency Tangerine PR has scaled back its London office and made the two full-time staff redundant.

The agency set up the London office last August and recently recruited Sarah Semple to be MD (PRWeek, 26 March). But Semple has now taken a redundancy package.

'At times like this, every responsible business is looking at where the opportunities lie and how to maximise them,' said group MD Sandy Lindsay.

But the agency has just taken on two new staff in Manchester, bringing the total head count to 22.

Meanwhile, at fellow Manchester-based agency MC2, MD Nathalie Bagnall is to become a non-executive director and its head of financial PR Sarah Lindgreen has been appointed media manager at AstraZeneca.
