Harvard head moves to senior B-M role

Burson-Marsteller has poached one of Chime's top PROs to lead its corporate, issues and technology (CIT) practice.

Harvard PR MD Chris Cartwright will move to the global agency to lead a team of 35 on clients including Bacardi, De Beers and HSBC.

Burson-Marsteller formed its CIT practice last year, integrating a handful of departments including crisis management and internal comms, all of which will now fall under Cartwright's remit.

Before moving to Harvard two years ago Cartwright was a director at Brands2Life and ran its European services offering as well as leading its Cisco and PeopleSoft accounts.

Prior to that, he spent seven years at Bite, latterly as its corporate practice head.
