Firefly’s Scotland office will work on Subway’s consumer PR following a four-way pitch. The agency has been briefed to target the Scottish national media, as well as rolling out a series of local PR programmes as stores open in each region.
There are now more Subway restaurant outlets in Scotland than there are McDonalds eateries, with 50 new stores planned in the country over the next two years.
The account will be led by Firefly Scotland director Martin Cryans, who joined from Beattie at the end of 2007. He was the MD of Beattie Glasgow and is based at Firefly’s offices in Leith, Edinburgh.
