The London branch of the global agency will handle the Samsung Electronics press office in the UK as well as overseeing product launches and trade events.
The brief covers Samsung's IT, mobile and consumer electronics divisions.
The agency will attempt to take Samsung out of the technology press and into the broader consumer media, with a focus on national, broadcast and web coverage.
Weber Shandwick will also promote Samsung Electronics' Olympic Games sponsorship.
The agency is also working with Samsung Europe, and was hired to launch the electronics giant's CSR partnership with the European Olympic Committees.
Scott Wilson, the agency's consumer MD, will oversee the account at Weber Shandwick's London office.
Other agencies still working on sections of Samsung's business in the UK include the Lounge Group, GolinHarris and Bite.
