The agency has been taken on by the Primary Care Dermatology Society. It is charged with providing secretariat services for the group of primary care practitioners.
It will organise GP conferences and training meetings, and will manage the requirements of its thousand-plus members.
The account will be headed up by Word account director Rosie Duckworth reporting to the PCDS Executive Committee and the newly formed board of trustees.
The Word MD Russell Evans said of the appointment: ‘The PCDS is a well regarded organisation within primary care and has a huge role to play in providing dermatology education to GPs.
In recent years, the organisation has grown in both stature and reputation and we are all entering an exciting new era as we respond to new developments and the ever changing demands of the industry.'
