Family law body hires Amazon

Amazon PR has won a brief to raise the profile of the body responsible for overseeing family law cases.

The Family Justice Council (FJC) is an advisory body that aims to facilitate quicker and more reasonable outcomes in family law cases.

The FJC is made up of judiciary, medical and social care workers, and deals with cases concerning rights for cohabiting couples, custody battles and forced marriages.

Amazon's campaign will use senior members of the FJC to provide comment for stories in the trade and national press.

The agency will also develop fact sheets for journalists to translate any complex issues arising from family law. And it will focus on reactive PR to make the body more recognisable.

Amazon managing director Louise Morris is in charge of the brief, reporting to FJC secretary Alex Clark.
