Kiss Radio has hired consumer PR support to raise the profiles of its new and existing DJs and oversee a 'brand resurgence'.

Media specialists Braben will promote Kiss’ breakfast DJ duo Rickie and Melvin, who are currently fourth in the London morning ratings.

The agency will also work with the Bauer-owned dance music station to announce the upcoming appointments of big-name DJs as Kiss ‘ambassadors’.

Braben MD Matt Bourn will report to the MD of Kiss, Steve Parkinson, working closely with head of PR Maureen Corish and Kiss’ talent roster.

'We have some fantastic activity lined up over the summer both in programming and marketing, and we need to make the most of it in the consumer and trade press,' said Parkinson.
