LETTER: Cake-baking can teach students key PR skills

Trends identified for cookery schools providing team-building opportunities (Feature, 13 June) scratch the surface in revealing the usefulness of culinary skills in PR.

Dismiss it as post-modern triviality, but cake-baking has provided an effective way of demonstrating to students key PR attributes, such as the importance of pre-planning, fresh ingredients and keeping hands clean throughout.
