St-Laurent will specialise in international communications at Vero.
She joins from Burson-Marsteller Brussels where she was a consultant focussing on the strategic development and management of pan-European communications campaigns, event management, and international and European media relations.
Vero founder and CEO Mike Lee said the agency would use St-Laurent's experience in 'running and implementing campaigns to promote bid cities seeking to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games'.
'Catherine's wealth of corporate and international communications experience adds another dimension to our work,' he added.
St-Laurent's appointment Karen Webb, former V-P, image and marketing comms at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) who joined in May 2008.
