Bunting takes Christianity job

Lobbying stalwart Chris Bunting has been made CEO of the Trinity Foundation for Christianity and Culture.

Bunting was head of UK operations of Global Consulting Group, parent firm of the now defunct Citigate Public Affairs. Previously, he served for 12 years as chairman and CEO of Weber Shandwick Canada.

The Trinity Foundation was set up five years ago in response to the increase in religious conflict and violence around the world.

Bunting said: 'Fostering understanding among religions and among people will ultimately defeat fundamentalism.'
