RMS to bring in business to Manchester

A public sector-funded body that represents the professional and financial services sector in Manchester has hired Cheshire-based RMS PR.

RMS has been briefed by Pro-Manchester to promote the city to regional and national business audiences, with the aim of bringing more business opportunities into the city. Manchester is second only to London in the UK in the financial services arena.

RMS was called in after a competitive pitch for a three-year contract. The four-strong account team will be led by account manager Natalie Lewis. RMS replaces Manchester-based MC2.

Lewis said: 'Using our national and regional contacts and our expertise in the business and finance sector, we will drive the key message that Manchester is the number one contender in financial and professional services outside London.'

Pro-Manchester recently organised an international delegation from eight countries to see how Manchester is prospering after its regeneration as part of the Commonwealth Games legacy.
