The West Midlands hotel that has hosted the Ryder Cup four times awarded the account to Cognition following a three-way pitch.
The agency’s focus is raising the profile of The Belfry’s hotel, spa and nightclub facilities and promoting its leisure breaks nationally.
Regionally, the remit is to attract more local customers to its range of restaurants and bars and encourage spa and Leisure Club membership.
Cognition will also attempt to increase numbers for The Belfry’s golf and spa package offerings during seasonal ‘dip periods’.
Cognition PR director Ellie Hawtin said: ‘Our brief is to drive couples, groups and families to the resort.’
