Upward Curve to flag up adoption

Upward Curve is working with a fostering and adoption charity to promote 'harder to place' children to prospective families.

Parents for Children finds permanent homes for children with profound emotional, learning or physical disabilities. It has seen a recent rise in the number of children with disabilities born to mothers using alcohol or drugs during pregnancy.

Upward Curve will attempt to get the message out in the media that there has been a rapid increase in the number of children with disabilities who need adopting.

It will also help the charity to raise awareness of the effects of alcohol on the unborn child.

There is currently no media specialist in the charity, so Upward Curve will provide media training to staff. The agency is providing pro-bono media relations and PR training support for the next year.
