Staffordshire in drive for tourism

Seal Communications has been selected by tourist body Staffordshire Destination Management Partnership (DMP) to implement a PR campaign designed to attract more tourists. The Midlands agency will focus on promoting the county at a national level to boost visitor numbers to attractions such as Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Theme Park and the Peak District.

The PR campaign will reinforce Staffordshire's brand proposition of 'a world of possibilities' by targeting travel and consumer journalists within the press, broadcast and online media at national and regional levels.

Chairman of Staffordshire DMP's press and PR sub group Bob Keys said: 'People from the area recognise the beauty of the region as well as the fantastic range of things to see and do. PR, however, will play a vital role in spreading this message further afield.'
