Abbey: seeking replacement

Gazala Haq has left Abbey after four years to join EDS as UK head of political relations.

A spokesman for Abbey said the bank was in the process of replacing Haq.

At EDS, Haq replaces Michael Dugher, who left the company last summer to become a special adviser to chief whip Geoff Hoon.

Haq's move to EDS reunites her with Malcolm George - the company's executive director of government relations across EMEA and a former colleague at Connect Public Affairs.
