BitWave hands chip brief to EML

Independent London tech shop EML has won a three-way pitch to lead a global semiconductor campaign.

The agency will promote BitWave in Europe, the US and Asia, working with partner agency Precision Communications in Boston.

BitWave develops wireless technology for mobile handset makers, with a new chip currently in production. Part of EML's brief is to support the launch of the chip.

The team will be led by EML director David Marsden in the UK, with Precision Communications president Al Haun leading the US campaign. EML recently won an account to promote 'geotagging' outfit Air Semiconductor (PRWeek, 28 February). It specialises in launching tech start-ups to the media.
