The monthly publication, published by leading political blogger Iain Dale, will be launched on 23 June. Investors include Tory peer Lord Ashcroft, but it intends to be politically neutral. Members of the advisory board include Liberty director Shami Chakrabarti and ex-Liberal Democrat leader Lord Ashdown.
Insight Public Affairs and InHouse PR, which recently worked on Boris Johnson's successful mayoral campaign, have been charged with raising the profile of the magazine pre-launch and delivering a London launch event, details of which are being kept under wraps.
Insight Public Affairs account manager Olly Kendall said: 'Total Politics will really shake up the existing market in political magazines. The pre-launch PR will be crucial in terms of driving up awareness among key audiences and helping to establish the magazine's strong unique selling points.'
