LPC Pharmaceuticals has briefed Armadillo PR to promote its Uvistat high factor sunscreen in the UK, working with dermatologists and nurses to show the risks of UV exposure.

Armadillo aims to replicate Australia’s successful, recognisable ‘slip, slap, slop’ campaign, promoting Uvistat sunscreen as a daily necessity in the UK rather than a ‘once-a-day summer holiday abroad habit’.

The agency will position the brand as serious, prescription-status sun protection. The PR team at Armadillo will also target families with Uvistat’s Little Sunbeams programme, an educational project aimed at raising awareness of skin cancer among children and getting them to check for suspect moles.
