Diary: Hit or Miss... Booze Britain

This week's £10m government alcohol awareness campaign received widespread coverage following a sterling PR job by Fishburn Hedges. Newspapers and broadcasters lapped up the finding that 77 per cent of people do not know there are three units of alcohol in one large glass (250ml) of wine. The news story and a 'booze diary' were also ranked as BBC Online's top two most read stories.
