City agency Gavin Anderson is providing pro-bono PR support for Chinese relief fund The Sichuan Deyang Earthquake Relief Foundation. The agency's newly launched Beijing office is raising awareness of the fund, which aims to assist children affected by the recent earthquake. The Beijing office was launched earlier this week by director Brion Tingler. The agency has been active in China since the establishment of its office in Hong Kong in 1985. At the time of going to press, the confirmed death toll from the earthquake had risen to 41,353, with 32,666 people missing. Authorities expect the final death toll from the tragedy to exceed 50,000.
