France's biggest international fashion chain has hired UK PR support to drive women to its online boutique.

Promod has brought in Juice PR to ‘step up its profile’ with the UK fashion media, particularly women’s weeklies, online titles and national supplements.

The French chain has 650 stores across 46 countries, selling high street clothes and accessories and grossing about 1bn euros in annual sales. Juice will work on promoting the brand’s website, which is updated daily and includes a newsletter and style guide service.

‘We understand how fundamental lifestyle magazines are for UK consumers, so recognised that this is paramount to getting brand space amongst our competitors,’ said Promod UK web marketing manager Emeline Kramarz of the PR push.
