Nick Peart has spent five years at the UK office of the multi-billion-dollar American software company, starting as product PR manager before being promoted in 2006.
Peart was latterly responsible for Adobe's comms across the UK, Ireland and Nordic region. He left last week for Acision, where he will take up the new role of global director of comms.
Acision was formed last year following the purchase of LogicaCMG's telecoms products business by a venture capital consortium. The messaging company delivers more than half the world's text and multimedia messages. It also provides the revenue-boosting mobile voting service to TV show American Idol.
