Invicta secures £115m golf course

A small Scottish public affairs firm has pushed through a planning application for a luxury golf development a few miles from the proposed £1bn Trump course, recently rejected by Aberdeenshire Council.

Invicta Public Affairs, led by former PPS Scotland head Mark Cummings, has secured unanimous council approval for a £115m development on behalf of client the Muir Group.

The decision comes as Aberdeenshire Council chairman Martin Ford admits to hiring a crisis comms agency as he defends the decision to turn down billionaire Donald Trump.

Ford has called on Fan Hitter PR, led by Caroline Weintz.
