The field of online reputation management is growing extremely fast at the moment. Why? Because more and more people are looking online to assess a company's reputation before buying from it.
As an owner of a similar website that pitches UK businesses against each other in a bid to find which is the best and which is the worst based on customer ratings, I find that many PR agencies are slow to realise the full potential of this medium.
I do not believe it will be very long before many are engaged full-time in defending their clients' poor reputations online. Equally, those representing clients with good reputations will (and should) be singing them from the rooftops.
