PRESS 

Anita Singh is to join The Daily Telegraph as showbusiness editor. She moves from the Press Association where she was showbusiness editor. Meanwhile, Martin Beckford has moved from assistant news editor to religious and social affairs correspondent at the broadsheet.

Financial Times analysis page editor Charles Clover has been appointed Moscow bureau chief, replacing Neil Buckley, who will return to London. Anousha Sakoui is joining FT as capital markets reporter. Sakoui is currently a reporter at Dow Jones Newswires.

Abu Dhabi Media Company's first English language newspaper was due to launch this week. Former editor of The Daily Telegraph Martin Newland is editor in chief of the new venture, called The National. Its web version is at thenational.ae.

Jessica Rogers has joined The Sun's celebrity column, Bizarre, as a showbiz reporter. Rogers joins from TV industry title Broadcast, where she was a reporter.

Shaoni Bhattacharya has started as news editor at New Scientist. She was promoted from deputy online editor.

Tariq Panja starts this week as a sports writer for Bloomberg in London. Panja moves from the Associated Press, where he was a correspondent.

Hannah Marriott has moved from PRWeek, where she was a senior writer, to Grazia magazine. Her new role is entertainment writer.

Men's Fitness has hired Donovan Walker as art editor. He held the same role at Poker Player magazine.

Now magazine's commissioning editor Karen Lester has moved to Love It!, where she will also be commissioning editor.

South Wales Echo assistant editor Margaret O'Reilly is now head of features across the Media Wales Group's newspapers and magazines.

Helen Crump has joined Health Service Journal as deputy news editor. She moves from fellow CMP trade title Building Design where she held the same title.

Erikka Askeland has been named business correspondent at The Scotsman. She moves from Scottish Business Insider, where she was deputy editor.

Samantha Norman is now fashion assistant at Haymarket women's magazine Eve. She was previously an intern.

BROADCAST

CNN International's business editor James Partington is now senior planning editor at the broadcaster, overseeing all forward planning.

DIGITAL

TechRadar.com news reporter James Rivington is now reviews editor.

T3.com editor Haje Jan Kamps has moved to Five.tv as senior producer. He will be responsible for the websites of The Gadget Show and Fifth Gear.

Money Website The Motley Fool has hired Laura Starkey as personal finance writer.

ITN is launching two new YouTube channels called ITN Music News and ITN News. PROs looking to feature artists should contact Amie O'Connor.

The Guardian has hired Damian Carrington, interactive editor at FT, as environment website editor.
