Staff changes at Victim Support

Victim Support has bolstered its comms team as it moves from a federation of 90 charities to a single national body.

Kelly Flynn has joined as media and external comms manager in charge of developing stakeholder relationships and managing the charity's external profile. She was formerly senior press officer for the London Assembly, but has been freelancing for the past 18 months.

Chris Ochietti joins as information and internal comms manager and will set up an internal comms framework for the restructured charity. He previously worked at Australia's largest private health insurer, Medibank Private, where he was internal comms manager.

Last year the charity shed five jobs in the department. Victim Support is a national charity working with those affected by crime.
