Biometrics specialist HRS has handed Manchester-based Citypress a brief to raise the company's profile in sectors where high-level security is an issue.

The agency will target both the national and trade press, looking at Government, defense, and aviation titles among others.

HRS is behind some of the UK's most high profile security control projects, including the iris-recognition entry system at Manchester Airport and a biometric access project for construction giant Carillion.

HRS is one of the bidders for the Olympic Delivery Authority security contract, which will be worth millions of pounds.

An ODA source called the 2012 construction project the 'most scrutinised ever', with unprecedented surveillance planned to ensure against fraud.
