Wallpaper founder and Monocle editor Tyler Brule will join the Financial Times as a columnist at the end of April. The FT has also promoted deputy world news editor David Wells to international company news editor, replacing Patrick Jenkins, who is now assistant editor. Tim Bradshaw has now started as the FT's digital media correspondent.

The Sun's Michael Lea has joined the Daily Mail as political correspondent. Lea replaces Jane Merrick, who has moved to The Independent on Sunday.

The Sunday Times' city editor Jenny Davey has gone on maternity leave. Freelance consumer and retail writer Teena Lyons will be covering.

Peter Taylor has replaced Sophie Brodie as city correspondent at The Telegraph, working on the financial services team across the daily and Sunday papers and the website. Taylor was formerly a reporter at the now-defunct weekly title The Business.

News of the World magazine Fabulous' features editor Caroline Corcoran has left after the title's recent launch.

The Independent's retail and leisure reporter Karen Attwood has left to join the launch team for a new Abu Dhabi newspaper.

Freelance fashion stylist and Exit magazine fashion features editor Hannah Teare is now fashion editor at monthly society title Tatler.

John Bowker has replaced Pete Harrison as Reuters' UK transport and utilities correspondent. Harrison has moved to Brussels as the newswire's European transport, energy and environment correspondent.

Natasha Guiotto, previously at InStyle magazine, has now joined Cosmopolitan as fashion assistant.

Gemma Gow has joined IPC's Look magazine as freelance junior fashion news assistant, helping fashion news editor Lucy Wood.

Jeff Salway, senior reporter at Moneywise, has been appointed personal finance editor at The Scotsman to replace Rosemary Gallagher. He will move at the end of the month.

Stephen Doig, fashion editor of 5th Medium website, has moved to women's monthly Harper's Bazaar as features assistant, replacing Emily Butseelar.

Hull Daily Mail deputy editor Mel Cook is moving to The Scunthorpe Telegraph as editor. He replaces Jane Manning, who is now editor in chief of Kent Regional News and Media. Cook is also responsible for thisisscunthorpe.co.uk.

BROADCAST

TV personality Clive Anderson will replace the late Ned Sherrin as host of BBC Radio 4 entertainment magazine Loose Ends.

Former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq is to host a new wildlife show on Five this autumn called Zoo Days.

DIGITAL

Future Publishing gadget website TechRadar has appointed Patrick Goss as news editor. He joins the Future title from web network MSN, where he was technology editor.

Financial News has hired Matt Turner as online reporter. Turner joins from trade publishers Engage Group, where he worked across a stable of internal magazines.

Times Online journalist Michael Moran has been promoted to books editor of Times Online. He will be charged with adapting book content from The Times and The Sunday Times.

The BBC is relaunching its News and Sports websites with more visual coverage, breaking news and live events. Pete Clifton is head of editorial development for multimedia.
