City & Corporate: BBC editor moves to Broadgate

Broadgate has hired Sarah Evans-Toyne, the former BBC online personal finance editor.

Evans-Toyne joins as account director with a remit to 'lead and augment Broadgate's digital offering and create services'.

In her previous role as the popular BBC News website's first personal finance and consumer affairs reporter, Evans-Toyne was responsible for setting up and editing the 'Your Money' section of the site. She has also worked as a journalist for the Money section at The Sunday Times.

Before joining Broadgate, Evans-Toyne ran a consultancy and worked as a government speech writer and press manager in Australia.
