The consultancy, which specialises in corporate comms and political support, has made PR veteran Francois Ramaget head of the new office.
He recently joined the agency from Trimedia France, where he was chief operating officer. Ramaget will be joined by three yet-to-be-announced hires who will take the agency's total staff count to 18.
The new office will develop a home-grown portfolio of clients based in France and will also implement local programmes for international clients managed from Aspect Brussels.
Aspect Paris has already started working on behalf of the Republic of Georgia in France. The former Soviet republic recently brought in Aspect's Brussels office to help it gain closer ties with Nato and the EU (PRWeek, 18 January).
The agency has also signed a French commercial real estate developer as a client.
