Fleishman-Hillard has further strengthened its public affairs firepower by hiring a senior Labour Party press officer, just weeks after snaring the BBC's Guto Harri.

Tim Nuthall will join the agency's Brussels office after three years at the Labour Party press office.

He follows his ex-boss - former Labour Party head of press and broadcasting Jo Murray - in to the agency world. Murray recently moved to Fishburn Hedges as an associate director (PRWeek, 18 January).

Nutthall is the latest in a number of new recruits to add to Fleishman-Hillard's lobbying credentials.

PRWeek recently revealed that Harri is to join the agency's public affairs arm as a senior consultant.

In 2007, the agency hired Simon Benson, a former special advisor to current Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, and two Conservatives:

Sophie Pim, who had worked in David Cameron's private office as operations manager, and Shaya Raymond, previously a political researcher to shadow cabinet member Theresa May.
