Public Affairs: Dublin firm nabs Ahern's adviser

Dublin-based agency MRPA Kinman Communications has bolstered its public affairs team with the appointment of a former special adviser to Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern.

Gerry Howlin has joined a four-strong public affairs team at the agency.

He will work across the agency's client portfolio. This includes the Dublin Transportation Office, The National Development Plan Information Office and the Health & Safety Authority.

Howlin previously worked as special adviser to Ahern from 1999 to 2007.
