Harri shocked by F-H's green cred

BBC political correspondent Guto Harri has told how his introduction to the senior leadership team at Fleishman-Hillard 'challenged a whole arsenal of my assumptions about PR and the world'.

As previously revealed by PRWeek, Harri is to join Fleishman-Hillard's public affairs arm as a senior consultant (PRWeek, 15 February).

This week, he returned from California after attending the firm's senior leadership conference.

He told PRWeek he was taken aback by the company's green credentials. 'Bottles of water were absent,' he said. 'Coffee came in china, not polystyrene. Pens and paper were from recycled materials and bulbs were low energy.'
