MPs' reputations getting worse

The public perception of MPs has plummeted dramatically in the past ten years - and PROs are in a reputational bind - according to a survey of UK PR's most influential practitioners.

Ninety-two per cent of the PRCA PR Leaders' Panel thought the reputation of MPs had worsened in the past decade. Not one said that reputations had improved.

Forty-four per cent said the reputation of PROs had also suffered over the same period.
