FD-LLM lands key retainers

FD-LLM has scooped up two retained accounts, including one with major global infrastructure support company KBR.

KBR provides engineering, construction and services to support the energy, petrochemicals, government services and civil infrastructure sectors. It was floated on the New York Stock Exchange in November 2006 with a valuation of $2.8bn.

FD-LLM will focus on UK national political audiences. The account was won and is being run by MD Simon Elliott.

FD-LLM has also been retained by R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. The association represents insolvency, business recovery and turnaround specialists in the UK.

FD-LLM lost a number of key staff last year and is now making a concerted effort to ensure it is still a threat on big public affairs pitches.

Former Sunday Times political editor David Cracknell started as chairman of FD-LLM earlier this year.
