Meyer is a former British ambassador to the United States. He has also worked as press secretary to Prime Minister John Major and press secretary to British Foreign Secretary Sir Geoffrey Howe. Meyer is expected to continue in his role at the PCC.

FH has also signed up former European commissioner for health and consumer protection David Byrne and former chief of U.S. naval operations Admiral Vernon Clark to its advisory board.

‘As senior strategists they each offer a unique ability to analyse public policy issues from geopolitical, regulatory, and private-sector perspectives. They will be highly valuable resources for our clients and staff around the globe,’ said FH president and CEO Dave Senay.

The new additions bring membership of the advisory board to 16. Other members include former US congressman Leon Panetta and former White House chief of staff Andrew Card.
