Validus wants corporate and financial support to position the New York Stock Exchange-listed firm as a successful international company.
The firm acquired insurance firm Talbot last year and in its fourth quarter results last month said it had 'recognized $81 million of net income against the purchase price of $382 million'.
Talbot was a strategic purchase designed to change the company 'from a Bermuda-only reinsurance platform to a globally diversified specialty insurance and reinsurance group'.
College Hill partner Tony Friend heads the account.
