The public sector specialist has appointed Penny Clifton as a board director based in its London office. Clifton was previously an associate director at Spreckley Partners where she worked on the UK launch of Magners and Nestle's CSR programme. Before Spreckley, Clifton spent eight years at Munro & Forster handling food and drink clients.
In Scotland, Martin Osler has been appointed as a board director, leading Geronimo's Edinburgh office.
Osler previously ran his own consultancy, Osler Media, and brings with him two clients: the General Teaching Council for Scotland and Bord na Gaidhlig, the Gaelic Development Agency.
He started as a senior press officer on the devolution desk at the Scottish Office in 1999, and stayed there through devolution, after which he worked on the enterprise and lifelong learning desk at the Scottish Government.
He then went on to be a PR manager for Learn Direct Scotland. Osler currently has a team of two and will be actively recruiting for the Edinburgh office.
The appointments follow the exit of Geronimo CEO Karen Harris, who founded the agency, and director Peter Gilheany, who left to head up the corporate department at Forster.
