Disney comms chief steps down

The Walt Disney Company is looking for a European comms chief after it emerged that Joyce Lorigan, the London-based V-P of corporate comms for EMEA, is leaving at the end of March.

Lorigan has resigned to look into new career paths. During her five-year tenure, she has established Disney's first pan-EMEA comms team. The company is looking for an internal replacement.

Lorigan, who reports to Zenia Mucha, Disney's vice president for global comms, said: 'I've spent 14 years in total at Disney and would have struggled to find such diverse experience at any other company.'
