Technology: Aviation brief for The Wordshop

Aviation IT group Sita has taken on aerospace specialist The Wordshop to manage its corporate comms.

The Wordshop director Barbara McCall and her team have been briefed to increase mainstream coverage for Sita, which is owned by a co-operative of 600 airlines and airports. 'Now that airports are increasingly involved in security issues, Sita has a huge e-Government initiative,' said McCall.

The four-year-old London agency takes over from two-year incumbent Octopus Communications, which did not repitch for the business.

The Wordshop's client roster in the air transport sector includes OnAir, the company pioneering the use of mobile phones on flights.
