Sony on hunt for UK tech agency

Sony is approaching top tech agencies as it seeks UK PR support for its electronics division.

The brief is thought to be worth a significant sum as the electronics division is the largest component of the Sony Corporation's business.

An intermediary has been used to approach London agencies with a view to drawing up a pitch list.

Sony UK PR chief Lucie Speciale, a former account director at Borkowski, could not be reached as PRWeek went to press.

Racepoint PR won a brief last year to promote its Sony Creative Software (PRWeek, 10 October 2007).
