The Wordshop director Barbara McCall and her team have been briefed to increase mainstream coverage for SITA, which is owned by a cooperative of 600 airlines and airports.
'Now that airports are increasingly involved in security issues, SITA has a huge eGovernment initiative,' said McCall.
The four-year old London agency takes over from two-year incumbent Octopus Communications, who did not repitch for the business.
'It was not worth it for us budget-wise,' said Octopus MD Sandy Purewal.
The Wordshop's client roster in the air transport sector includes OnAir, the company pioneering the use of mobile phones on flights.
