Lexington boosts Treasury links

Lexington Communications has strengthened its links with the Treasury by poaching one of its officials to be a senior consultant.

Rebecca Williams joins Mike Craven's agency after three years as a policy adviser in the corporate and private finance team at the Treasury. Williams also has inside experience of the Department for Work and Pensions, having been on secondment to the department as a senior policy adviser.

Before moving to the Treasury, Williams was a research assistant to the Labour MEP Glyn Ford.

Last year, Lexington lost senior consultant and former Conservative Party staffer Laura Montgomery to Fishburn Hedges (PRWeek, 10 August 2007).
