Taylor Wimpey has handed the brief to Birmingham-based Haslimann Taylor. The house builder wants to 'build distinct positions for its consumer brands'.
Taylor Wimpey was formed last summer after a merger between George Wimpey and Taylor Woodrow.
Haslimann Taylor worked for Bryant Homes, part of George Wimpey, before the merger. It will now advise on corporate activity for Taylor Wimpey and consumer activity for all the firm's brands.
'This is a broad-ranging brief,' said Haslimann Taylor deputy MD Sarah Kent. 'Our focus will be on establishing Taylor Wimpey as a market leader and helping to build distinct positions for its consumer brands.'
