If it's weird, unusual or makes you go 'eek!', we'll consider it. We want interviews with amazing people (such as Prince Albert, the pensioner who's tattooed from head to foot, or Samppa Von Cyborg, a chap with a metal mohawk implanted in his head), along with features on tattoos/body modification, strange holidays, picture stories, deviant art, true crime, and strange/kinky fetishes.
WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE THE REVAMP?
We're now 100 per cent focused on producing a magazine that's weird, edgy and entertaining, without feeling the need to compete with traditional men's magazines.
The design has also been tweaked to make the most of our amazing photographs.
WHAT IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE?
The 'interested alternative' - people who might not be covered in tattoos or lead a strange lifestyle, but who are fascinated by the flip side of life.
WHAT SECTIONS DOES IT HAVE?
We kick off with Photo Assault, 12 pages of striking photographs, which segue into Weird World, the best weird news, followed by Your Bizarre, a section devoted to reader interaction. The features section follows Your Bizarre, and the magazine ends with reviews, looking at bizarre movies, DVDs and music.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM PROS?
Our lead-times are longer than most, so if you're doing the press for a strange movie, DVD or band, please let us know as early as possible.
ANY TIPS FOR PR PEOPLE? PET PEEVES?
Take a look at the magazine - we're not interested in high street fashion, mainstream sports or airhead celeb-rities. If you've got something unusual to tell us about, pick up the phone.
