Hospital Club site seeks manager

Well-known industry haunt The Hospital Club is looking for a PR manager to help attract members to its social networking site (PRWeek, 2 November 2007).

The fledgling site encourages people involved in PR, advertising, journalism and the arts to mingle online.

Parent company The Hospital Group hired Stuart Who as web editor of He was previously editor of the UK and Australian branches of

Who described the invitation-only site as 'Facebook, but for your industry, marrying this to the MediaGuardian, with a smattering of Popbitch for good measure'.

Members can invite five industry peers to join.

The PR manager will work with Who to promote the site and will also be responsible for appointing PR agencies on ad hoc projects.
