Mark Reale takes the post of marketing comms manager at Takeda UK, responsible for all internal and external comms.
Reale returns to Takeda from his role as professional relations manager in the cardiovascular division at Astra Zeneca. He previously worked at Takeda between 2001 and 2004.
In the new role, he will report to strategic marketing director Gareth Davies. As well as comms, he will be charged with liaising with major stakeholder groups including key opinion leaders and NHS teams.
He will work with the regional account directors to deliver patient-centred approaches to all healthcare initiatives within the NHS.
Takeda's key therapeutic areas are diabetes, hypertension and heart failure.
