The agency was brought in following a four-way shootout and will now promote Kinder Surprise, Kinder Happy Hippo, Kinder Chocolate and Kinder Maxi.
The agency will work on a range of media relations campaigns to support the brand, publicise new products in the portfolio and new ranges of Kinder Surprise toys. There will also be some experiential campaigns taking place in Easter and summer.
The appointment comes as the marketing industry comes under increasing pressure to self regulate its exposure to children, as Ofcom extends its ban on advertising high fat food to children.
Director James Gordon-MacIntosh, who leads the account, said that the brand will only target parents. He reports into Kinder UK’s marketing manager Tracy Waxman.
